Lindsay Lohan Ditched by MTV Awards

Lindsay Lohan has been dropped as the host of the MTV World Music Awards, allegedly because organizers of the event were concerned about the ability of the actress to present.

The awards ceremony will be held in Monaco next week, with Denise Richards presenting instead of Lindsay Lohan.

During 2006 awards Lindsay messed up her lines and even called Beyoncé early onto the stage when she was still getting ready for her performance.

But, according to sources, the crunch point was sharing the stage with Desperate Housewives’ Jesse Metcalfe because Lohan because she was worried she wouldn’t be the star anymore.

“They got worried and decided to change it. In the end it was decided by both parties it was better if she pulled out,” an insider said.
