Sources claim the singer/actress is having hard times financially and has resorted to ‘begging close pals for money.’

According to a source cited by the New York Daily News, Lindsay Lohan has been asking for handouts from her friends. Once worth several millions of dollars, the starlett not allegedly finds herself without any money, having diminished her fortune on the party life and subsequent stints in rehab.

She had also been unofficially promoting Ariva, by making sure she's photographed using the anti-smoking lozenge. A second source said that the company has since denied reports of Lohan being the company's spokes model, but paid her a five figure amount under the table.

It was also reported that she had been trying to hock photos from her family's Thanksgiving dinner.
