Lindsay Lohan Says She Would Never Drive Drunk

Lindsay Lohan claimed that she would never drive while drunk - just hours before being arrested for doing so.
The Mean Girls actress made the statement in an interview with Elle magazine, which was conducted 36 hours before her first DUI arrest on May 26. The topic came up after Lindsay spoke about her experiences with the paparazzi and started to speculate about why they follow her.
"They're looking for me, to like trip, so they can be like, 'Oh Lindsay's wasted and driving drunk.' And that's not it," Lohan explained in the interview. "I wouldn't violate... I'm much more responsible than that. I would not do that.
"You know what the worst thing is? They're making money off it! It’s like, why don't the celebrities make money [from the photos]? It's not right, the fact that someone is making money off you enjoying your time."
Lindsay was formally arrested for the first DUI incident last month. She was then arrested for drink-driving again just days later.
Her interview with Elle will feature in the magazine's August 14 issue.
